A New Chapter for Our Humanoid Robot Jože: Training for the Konjiški Maraton 2026
Jože has joined the Athletics School Konjice to prepare for the Konjiški Maraton 2026 in Slovenske Konjice on 27 September 2026.

Jože joins the Athletics School Konjice
Our humanoid robot Jože has officially taken on a new challenge: participating in the Konjiški Maraton 2026 in Slovenske Konjice on 27 September 2026.
To begin his preparation, Jože has joined the Athletics School Konjice, where he is training alongside dedicated athletes and coaches. He has already successfully completed his first training sessions and several laps around the running track.
But Jože is much more than a runner. Thanks to our AI-powered cognitive voice platform, he can actively communicate with his trainers and fellow athletes, receiving instructions, asking questions and engaging with the team during training.
Three months to race day
With just three months remaining until race day, our team will do everything possible to help Jože improve both his running performance and his communication. One big question is still open: will he line up for the 200 m, 500 m, 1,000 m, 5,000 m, or perhaps even the 10,000 m?
What makes this especially notable is that Jože has become the first humanoid robot in Slovenia, and the first in Europe, to officially register for a marathon event. For us, it is an important milestone not only for our company, but for the future of humanoid robotics, AI-powered mobility and human-robot collaboration.
The countdown has begun. We look forward to sharing Jože’s progress, training highlights and milestones in the run-up to 27 September 2026.
