A Historic Milestone for Slovenian Theatre and Technology: Our Humanoid Robot Joins Human Actors on Stage
For the first time in Slovenia, a humanoid robot performed in a theatre play, in a live production at the Cultural Centre in Slovenske Konjice.

A first for Slovenian theatre
For the first time in Slovenia, a humanoid robot performed in a theatre play, stepping onto the stage alongside human actors in a live production at the Cultural Centre in Slovenske Konjice. The performance marked a striking convergence of the performing arts, artificial intelligence and humanoid robotics.
What makes it especially inspiring is that it was brought to life by young creators and performers from Gimnazija Slovenske Konjice, whose talent, energy and courage made the moment unforgettable. Special recognition goes to producer Miha Slapnik, whose vision and leadership were instrumental in realising this pioneering project.
We are proud to have supported the production, helping transform an idea into a living performance in which technology becomes part of the storytelling. We are also grateful to our team, Miha Golčer, Sara Slapnik and Luka Slapnik, for their dedication and creativity in bringing the vision to life.
More than a performance
For us, the evening was more than a single show. It offered a glimpse of a future in which robots do not replace people but collaborate with them, even in the most human of domains: art, emotion and expression.
Slovenia has taken a bold step forward, and this is only the beginning.
